Every property is looked after by people who’ve actually stood in the kitchen and walked the coastline five minutes down the road, not a national call centre working from a script.

StayGentic isn’t a booking site dreamt up by outsiders to the industry. It’s run by an established local property management team already looking after holiday lets across West Wales, day in, day out. This wasn’t built by people learning the business, it’s built by people already doing it, who wanted a fairer way to do it.
Founder Evan Davies spent nearly a decade at cottages.com, ultimately as New Business Director, before setting out to build something more local and more fair.
We add properties carefully, not quickly. Every cottage that joins already has a real local team behind it before it ever appears here, never pulled in from a national database of somewhere nobody’s actually been.
